Why isn't the Moving Images collection showing up on Google's Video Search?

While this search is in its infancy, it seems like a good match with the IA collection - especially considering that regular Google finds many of the films on this site.

Google's 'video' search is still in its infancy. For now, they snag the closed captions off a small handful of broadcast and cable channels, make those captions searchable and offer screen shots, not video, to accompany the text.

It would be great if this broadcast/cable content could be mixed with video ALREADY on the web. Presumably, rights issues with existing web video wouldn't be so thorny.

This blog provides detail on google’s current plans:

Google does contain certain areas of the internet archive in it's listings. I double checked recently and discovered that my video Armageddon is on the list. Maybe you should try to locate elements of the Internet Archive rather than the entire site.

Update, the news of the day is that google is adding some kind of video blogging or personal video angle. (Kind of like ourmedia.org just started doing, maybe?)
